I believe in letting the arrows fly, wherever they may land. This does not mean shooting blindly. It’s about trusting in the process and the preparation that got you to that point and knowing that there may be outside influences that affect the trajectory. The sooner you come to this realization, the easier it is to let each arrow go.
My leadership style is similar, in that once we have discussed the methods of preparation and process, I guide with a gentle hand towards the target. I hope that I’ve earned the trust at that point that they can acknowledge and translate that guidance in the way it works for them.
Ultimately I lead by example and have fun doing it.
